History about Cape Dutch @ Keerweder
Cape Dutch @ Keerweder is situated in the beautiful Franschhoek valley on the oldest farm in Franschhoek, granted in 1692 to Heinrich Muller who came from Basel. The Cape Dutch Manor was built in 1830 and opened its doors in 1886 as the first guest house in the Cape Lands. Now once again guests are offered accommodation in the manor house on Keerweder.

Keerweder is a working fruit farm with the guest house surrounded with plum orchards. We would like to inform our guests that tractors and people can be expected moving in and around the orchards.
